This is a thread to share experiences with Broly fanboys, and potential counter arguments to statements that they make, to help people. I suppose the former of the two will be more common. Will this catch on? Who knows? |

Infinitely rising ki while in LSSj is a common fan-boy misconception, and is pretty much the source to these outrageous claims in potential feats. It doesn't state anywhere that his ki constantly rises (confirmed by Herms), and even though he does indeed state in movie 8 that his ki was "overflowing", so did King Piccolo after he regained his youth. So why do we consider Broly's to be infinitely rising and not King Piccolo's? |

I'm cool with people believing LSSJ Broly (M10) > SSJ2 Goku but anything beyond that is ridiculous. To think that people actually think Broly is SSJ3 tier just makes me want to slam my head on my desk. Edited by Yusuke, May 20 2014, 02:44 AM.

In addition to this, what proof do we have that Broly got a zenkai after movie 8? He seems roughly even in movie 10 with his movie 8 self. At least that's the way I see it. If he was stronger, it really wasn't by any notable amount. Edited by Ketchup Revenge, May 20 2014, 03:27 AM.

The Daiz confirms it along with his SSJ section stating that he's stronger than SSJ Buu Saga Goku. But yeah, I usually don't see the reason to overbloat his power like he's some sort of DBZ god or something. High SSJ2 tier is the best I can see him being though I don't believe the former. |

The issue with that is that SSj2 Older Gohan was able to hold his own against him (or at least not die), and we know for a fact that Gohan was weaker than his Cell Games self. SSj2 Boo Era Gohan is most likely stronger than Boo Era SSj Goku, but I don't think that it would be by that much considering how small the SSj2 multiplier is from Super Saiyan. If anything, Broly might be anywhere between Cell Era SSj2 Gohan, and SSj2 Goku/Majin Vegeta tier. I can't imagine a logical reason to put him any higher than that. If SSj2 Goku is 2x stronger than his SSj self, and Goku SSj2 is stronger than SSj2 Cell Era Gohan, that would put Goku's SSj probably around Boo Era SSj2 Gohan, perhaps only 33% weaker or something like that. I am currently in an argument with a Broly fanboy. This one believes that LSSJ Broly is a lot stronger than SSJG Goku, and that Movie 8 Broly is faster than Pre-Crisis Superman  They are also arguing that Broly is smart, and that the fact that he has better chi attacks than Goku in Movie 8 proves this  It' super annoying. |

Arguing with Brolly fanboys (They seem to be the most biased of any) isn't really worth your time, even if you do get through to one, another will take his place. My best advice is leave them be, let them be wrong, read what they say and have a good laugh. |

Gohan was haxed in the movie hence him being stronger than his Buu Saga self as evident by his statement in the movie. You can still have the chain you just mentioned in the movie because CG Gohan got an extra boost of power through rage when he went SSJ2 where as Teenage Gohan didn't. Since M10 Gohan is technically based of Buu Saga Gohan, it's likely that he didn't get a rage boost like his child self so you can still have something like... SSJ2 Goku = SSJ2 Majin Vegeta > SSJ2 Kid Gohan ~ M10 LSSJ Broly ~ SPC >> M10 SSJ2 Gohan > SSJ2 Teen Gohan Personally, that's how I think the chain should be. I understand their's an argument to be made for Broly being high SSJ2 tier but it's just unecessary IMO. I'm willing to tolerate the former but there's no way i'm even going to consider Broly ever getting near SSJ3 tier lol. @Rogafufuken You must be digging deep down into the slumbs of YT aren't you? Usually, that's a normal hotspot for Brolytards to grace their stupidity on others. |

I had a debate on the db wiki with a guy who claimed to not be a broly fanboy. He was trying to convince me that M8 broly is ssj3 tier. He was using video games as part of his proof and it was so irritating. I don't usually get angry in forums but this was just rediculous It's people like this that ruin broly. Broly is my favorite movie villain but I realize he's not that powerful and it's easy for him to become overrated when people think he is the strongest dbz character ever Edited by Ssj3vegito96, May 20 2014, 05:47 AM.

WOW! How much more biased & unfair can you get? Just because Broly is a Movie character he apparently doesn't deserve to be in the DragonBall Discussion section. Poor Broly, this is just unfair & you will hear of Broly's lawyer soon. On-Topic: Tell them that Broly's power is not maximum. |
